Recover your backup offline

Choose an encrypted HarborKeep backup and enter its backup passphrase. This tool prepares a ZIP of your records and files on this computer. It does not upload anything or contact a service.

The recovered ZIP is unencrypted and includes private fields such as passwords. Save it somewhere private. Your encrypted backup stays unchanged.

Choose a .harborkeepbackup or legacy .mskexport file, up to 100 MiB.

Use the passphrase chosen when the backup was created. Your Apple account and device passcode are not needed.

Keep this entire folder to use it without an internet connection. Open index.html in a current desktop browser. No HarborKeep installation is required.

Older backups can lack standard renderings of rich notes and drawings. Their native data is preserved, and any rendering limits are listed after recovery. The tool uses memory for the complete backup and supports up to 128 MiB of recovered content.

Close this tab when finished. JavaScript cannot guarantee immediate erasure of strings or browser-managed memory.
